| The Special Kids Heritage Partner program came into existence in 2003 due to the non-profit organization's need for greater support. Although Special Kids is and has been well received by civic groups, churches, and individuals in its more than eight years of service, there remains a weekly overhead cost in keeping its Skilled Nursing program and Rehabilitation services functioning.
The Heritage Partner program allows a business or individual to contribute to Special Kids by sponsoring a room (or rooms) in the facility for the period of a year. The significance of the room sponsorship is that it provides a tangible picture, portraying how this monetary support is keeping that particular room, and essentially our programs, up and running.
