As an Central Scheduler at Special Kids, you will have the opportunity to work alongside individuals who are passionate about serving others.   • Full-time (40 hours)


  • Check patients in and out through electronic medical records.
    Assist with confirming, cancelling, and rescheduling patient appointments.

  • Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, scanners, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.

  • Answer multi-line telephone system and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.

  • Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.


  • High school diploma or GED, or medical office experience and/or training.


  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.  Working knowledge of HIPAA and electronic medical records is a plus.
