Special Kids provides therapeutic rehabilitation and nursing services to children with special needs, ages birth to 21 years. Our core services include physical therapy, orthopedic physical therapy, occupational therapy, feeding therapy and speech language pathology as well as a one-of-a-kind nursing program for children who are medically fragile. Recreational therapy is also offered to children participating in our nursing program. All children who receive our core services are seen at our facility with a physician referral.
Special Kids has grown over the years to include auxiliary programs that are funded by our grant partners. Currently, these programs include a summer day camp for children with special needs ages 6-25 years called Camp Ability.
